WHAT:
“Singing Lessons To Die For” is a 10-week vocal coaching program culminating with a Halloween-themed performance. All ages are welcome. A series of technical exercises will improve breath support, tone, and placement. Participants also gain a better understanding of how to read music and performance.
WHEN:
August 26, through October 30. Classes will be held on Fridays between 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
Ages 8-12 Friday 5:30 – 7:30 Kids meet in the Art Room Active Net Code (#103515)
Ages 13-16 Friday 5:30 – 7:30 Teens meet in the Teen Center Active Net Code (#103516)
Ages 17+ Friday 5:30 – 7:30 Adults meet in the Multi-Purpose Room Active Net Code (#103517)
WHERE:
Classes are held at our residency located at the North Park Recreation Center; at 4044 Idaho St. San Diego, CA.
WORKSHOP FEES:
$160 for an 8-week program
SCHOLARSHIP:
Our needs-based scholarships are intended to make the arts more inclusive to all who wish to participate. Especially to those that would otherwise go without. To qualify participants will need to show proof of income and or enrollment in a benefits program. A scholarship may waive a portion of tuition fees. To Apply for Scholarship: Complete the online scholarship application and attend a T3 scholarship committee meeting. Applicants under the age of 18 are required to have a parent or guardian present. You will receive an email regarding this meeting. Scholarship Deadline: The scholarship deadline for this workshop is August 5, 2022.
FEES / REFUNDS:
Workshop fees are due at the time of registration or before the first class. Fees allow us to secure teaching artists and cover production costs, which include:
- Rights, licensing & royalties
- Insurances & administrative needs
- Technical and creative staff
- Sets and props
T3 reserves the right to make a decision on a refund or a credit according to individual circumstances.
