T3 Triple Threat (T3) is a 501(c)(3) training and performance program. We are now inviting non-union singers and dancers ages 16 – 21 to submit a video audition for our upcoming production of Rising Stars. All performers must be between the ages of 16 -21 and should be in or around San Diego to audition. Below are all the details and instructions how to submit. ALL PERFORMERS UNDER 18 MUST HAVE A PARENT OR GUARDIANS CONSENT TO PROCEED. Cast members will receive up to a $100 stipend.
WHAT:
Centered around the creation and performance of a 90s Pop/Rock music revue, Rising Stars is designed for young performers considering a BFA program or who are wanting to go pro. Candidates should be prepared to learn specific material from our production. Once you have submitted your registration, you will receive audition materials. Singers will need to prepare two songs from our 90s themed lineup and dancers will need to learn choreography provided.
SINGERS: Have strong pop/contemporary, R&B styles, able to belt with strong mix/head ability. Should be able to move well/ dance with strong harmonizing skills able to command a stage / tell a story. Should be comfortable with audiences interaction. Vocalist should be comfortable within: Males Eb3 – C5/ Females Ab3 – E5.
DANCERS: Male and female should have strong technique with backgrounds in versatile styles including Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Commercial.
WHEN:
We are currently accepting video submissions. Submission will be accepted until we have selected our team. Our proposed start date is on or around September 1, 2022. Please know we will still want to see you in-person at callbacks, when the date is announced.
CALLBACKS: TBA
When our callback dates have been selected, singers will be asked to join us in-person to sing from selected callback material. Dancers will be asked to come back for partnering work.
WHERE:
Auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be held at our residency located at the North Park Recreation Center, 4044 Idaho St. San Diego, CA.
