Presented by T3 Triple Threat in partnership with the City of San Diego Parks & Recreation Department.
We offer a high-caliber musical theatre training ground through a FREE and donation-based model. Students work with professional teaching artists to build strong foundations in voice, dance, and acting—all while preparing for real performance opportunities. Whether your child is new to the stage or already loves the spotlight, this is their chance to train, grow, and thrive in a supportive and diverse community.

Saturdays, 1:30–3:00 PM (Kids & Teens)
We are a donation-base program Since 2001, T3 has kept our doors open through student donations and gifts from our website.
We simply ask that if you enjoy your class (and we know you will!), you show your appreciation by leaving a donation. Student donations help us pay our teaching artists, purchase materials, and maintain essential program insurance.
To help us meet the cost of operations, we’ve implemented giving guidelines that are set below market value. Parents who are in a position to contribute the suggested donation are asked to do so, while others are encouraged to give what they can. Everyone is welcome, regardless.
Let your child shine this fall in a magical, confidence-building musical theatre experience! Whether they’re brand new to the stage or already love the spotlight, Disney’s Dare to Dream JR is their chance to grow, perform, and be part of something unforgettable.

Celina2024-04-22Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. T3 has been a life changing experience for my daughters! Singing, acting and dancing taught them more than just theater and stage presence. My daughter improved in reading, writing and over-came her struggle with dyslexia by rehearsing lines and learning to speak confidently on stage. Their confidence and appreciation for hard-work to put on a great show while having fun with new friends will forever be memories we’ll cherish 🙏🏼. Mr. Morie is an excellent teacher, great with the kiddos and teaches techniques for those who want to pursue acting, singing and dancing professionally. The scholarship covers the full participation fee for our summer production, including rehearsals, instruction, and performance costs. Additional costs such as costumes, script deposits, or optional merchandise may not be included.
2. Who is eligible to apply for a scholarship?
Scholarships are available to youth ages 7-17 who have a strong interest in musical theater but may need financial assistance to participate.
Scholarship hopefuls are encouraged to join us for a free class! During the class, students will learn about our scholarship opportunities and how they can participate. To be considered, participants must also audition in May, where they will showcase their talent, enthusiasm, and commitment.
Audition details will be shared at our classes, and information can also be found on our website at t3triplethreat.com. In general, scholarship hopefuls should follow the audition guidelines listed on our website.
Scholarship recipients must commit to attending all rehearsals, participate fully in the production, and demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude throughout the process. It takes a village to do the work we seek to do, and all parents are asked to contribute their time and talent to our production.
We will award at least three scholarships. If additional funding becomes available, we may be able to provide more.
Rehearsals will be held from on or around June 1 – August 8, with tech rehearsals on August 11-13. All rehearsals will take place at the North Park Recreation Center, located at 4044 Idaho Street.
Absolutely! We welcome all levels of experience. A great attitude, a willingness to learn, and a love for performing are just as important as prior training.
Recipients will be chosen based on their audition performance, enthusiasm, potential, and financial need. A selection panel will review all applicants and notify recipients after auditions.
Scholarship decisions will be announced shortly after auditions, giving families time to plan for summer participation.
