Yes, we’re mindful of dietary needs. Classes offer meat or plant-based options, and we’re happy to accommodate allergies or specific dietary restrictions. Just let us know, and we’ll make sure your child’s experience is safe and enjoyable. Due to limited resources, we may ask vegan families if they have certain harder-to-find ingredients at home they can share.
Your child will be fully involved in the cooking process! From preparing ingredients to learning cooking techniques, they’ll get to work alongside our instructors and take ownership of the dishes they create. This isn’t a demonstration class—it’s all about active participation.
Safety is our top priority. Our instructors are experienced in working with kids and teaching proper kitchen safety. We guide students through each step, ensuring they learn to handle equipment safely and confidently. Plus, we use kid-friendly tools where appropriate.
Every once in a while this happens, however more often we find our kids have a favorable experience. While we encourage kids to taste their creations, we understand that not every dish will be a favorite. The real value of the class is in the process—learning new skills, trying new things, and gaining a sense of accomplishment. Plus, we offer plenty of variety, so there’s always something different to look forward to next time!
