COST:

$360. Buddy and sibling discount price of $300 available (so sign up with a friend). There will be a tuition deadline once cast (July 30). Scholarships are available.

 

SCHOLARSHIP:

(individual) For the past 17 years, T3 has worked hard to make educational opportunities more accessible both financially and socially to all who wish to participate. Our needs-based scholarships are intended to give opportunities to those who may not otherwise be able to afford it. Participants will need to show proof of income and or enrollment in a benefits program. A scholarship may waive a portion of tuition fees.
To Apply for Scholarship: Complete the online scholarship application and attend a T3 scholarship committee meeting. Applicants under the age of 18 are required to have a parent or guardian present. You will receive an email regarding this meeting.

Scholarship Deadline: The scholarship deadline for summer is June 8, 2019

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

7 through 16-year-olds. There will also some production spots for those interested in learning about this side of the show process. (directing, stage managing, technical theatre, etc.)

REHEARSAL DAYS:

Monday, Wednesday & Friday, June 17 thru August 22  from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

Call time is typically 1 hour prior to the performance, and all cast members should expect to stay after the last show date to help with striking and to enjoy a CAST PARTY!

PRODUCTION DETAILS

CAST AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

Please print your registration form at home and bring it with you to your audition, along with a headshot and resume. Everyone will be asked to sing, and learn a short dance combination in the style of the show. Performers auditioning for leads may be asked to read selected sides at callbacks.
Prepare two, one-minute musical theatre style vocal selections that best shows your voice and range. Bring your karaoke/instrumental track on a phone, iPod or CD. You will be taught a dance combination at your callback.
Classes and audition preparation will be offered every Saturday 11:00am – 2:30pm, April 6 through June 1. Three, four-week sessions will be offered at the recreation center, located at 4044 Idaho Street.

PRODUCTION AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

If you or someone you know is interested in learning about becoming a “Techie”  which consist of (directing, stage managing or becoming
a backstage tech ) you can sign up for an interview. Techies do not have to audition. Designed for ages 10-18, tuition is the same.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

A vibrant, intelligent girl with beauty, who wants more out of life than an ordinary existence. She is optimistic, fun-loving, caring, and eager to experience life.
Female. Range: E3 – F5

A Prince transformed into a terrifying beast for his lack of compassion. He is hot-tempered and commanding, but has a warm, loving heart buried far beneath his gruff exterior.
Male. Range: A2 – F4

The egotistical, ultra-masculine villain determined to marry Belle. He is manipulative yet charming and earnest.
Male. Range: A2 – E4

Belle’s loving, eccentric father. A child at heart and inventor in his own world.
Male. Range: Bb2 – Db4

A tightly-wound, enchanted mantle clock and the head of the Beast’s household. He is uptight, strict, and punctual but also hard-working, faithful, and thorough.
Male. Range: A2 – E4

A suave, debonair enchanted candelabra. He is a loyal and steadfast servant.
Male. Range: F#2 – F#4

A saucy, enchanted feather-duster, and the object of Lumiere’s affections. She is a playful, gorgeous French maid.
Female. Range: C4 – F5

A warm-hearted, maternal enchanted teapot. She is loyal, caring, and playful.
Female. Range: F#3 – G5

An enchanted teacup and Mrs. Potts’ darling little boy. He is innocent, playful, and bright-eyed.
Male. Range: A3 – F5

A former opera diva-turned-enchanted wardrobe. She has a caring, refined, larger than life personality.
Female. Range: C#4 – D5

Gaston’s bumbling sidekick. He is loyal, energetic, and optimistic, but not quite the brightest guy.
Male. Range: B2 – F#4

The scheming proprietor of the local insane asylum. He is a dark, sinister villain who aides Gaston in his plot to marry Belle.
