AUDITION PROCESS: In an effort to provide an authentic experience all performers will be asked to sing a song of their choice which best showcases their vocal ability and participate in our movement call. We suggest an upbeat song from a Broadway musical. Vocal selections should be one minute long and in the style of the show. Singers will be asked to bring a karaoke/accompaniment track or instrumental of their song on a iPod, phone, or CD. We strongly suggest using the best part of the song that shows vocal ability and range. (No acapella.)

Through this experience, participants perfect their craft and learn new skills, and prepare for a student showcase performance.

STORY: Beautiful and kindhearted princess Snow White charms every creature in the kingdom except one – her jealous stepmother. When the Magic Mirror proclaims Snow White the fairest one of all, she must flee into the forest, where she befriends the lovable animals of the forest and the seven dwarfs. When the Queen tricks Snow White with an enchanted apple, only the magic of true love’s kiss can save her!

VOCAL SELECTIONS: Chose a song that best shows your vocal ability.  We suggest a upbeat song from a Broadway musical. Vocal selections should be in the style of the show.  Singers will be asked to bring a karaoke/ accompaniment  track or instrumental of their song on a iPod, phone or CD. Singers will have one minute. We strongly suggest using the best part of the song that shows vocal ability and range. (No acapella.)

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
For the past fifteen years, T3 Triple Threat Youth Mentors (T3) has worked hard to make arts education and mentoring more accessible financially and socially to kids and teens in San Diego. The program provides a variety of donation-based voice, dance and acting classes that are designed to help youth gain new skills through the arts, and in life, as well as connect to positive role models.

T3’s newly minted curriculum features the Visual and Performing Arts Content Standards/Curriculum Framework adopted by the California State Board of Education! We believe that these skills are vitally important in any field that our students may choose to pursue.

Since our founding, we have offered a healthy, safe environment where students learn to express themselves clearly and creatively through performing arts classes, workshops and theatrical performances. One of our essential core values is that no child is ever turned away based on ability to pay.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR/FOUNDER:
Singer, dancer, and actor Morie Williams was recently cast in the Tony Award winning Broadway Musical, Aida, which will be performed at Moonlight Stage Productions in Vista. Williams has performed his way across 7 continents and over 200 countries. One of his biggest joys has always been helping young people craft their best performance both on and off the stage.
